Aquarium releases turtles off Va. <br /><br />Ten Kemp’s ridley sea turtles that had been in rehabilitation for six months at Boston’s New England Aquarium were released Tuesday off Virginia’s Cape Charles, according to the aquarium. The 4- to 10-pound reptiles, from one of the world’s most endangered breeds of sea turtles, were rescued off Cape Cod last fall after migrating from points south, said Tony LaCasse, media relations director at the New England Aquarium. “They should migrate back south,’’ but “some of them end up on the north side of the Cape and can’t figure out the navigation,’’ LaCasse said.
